This travel opportunity is for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) holding CCC and school certification to provide services within an educational setting in Grayslake, IL. The position focuses on Extended School Year (ESY) programming with multiple openings supporting students from early childhood through 12th grade.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Grayslake, IL (SEDOL district)
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with the first and last day extending to 3:15 p.m.
- Duration: June 15, 2026, through July 26, 2026
- In-person attendance required
- Working with students classified as Severe Emotional Disabilities (SED)
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based certification preferred
- Experience serving children in early childhood through 12th grade settings
- Ability to deliver in-person services during scheduled hours
- SLPA and CF approvals pending and under consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the educational setting
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support students' communication development
- Document progress and maintain compliance with program requirements
