Travel School Speech Therapist - Grayslake, Illinois
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services for a diverse student population from early childhood through 12th grade during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Grayslake, IL. This in-person role offers a focused schedule and the opportunity to support students’ communication development in a structured educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy tailored to students with a range of needs within the SEDOL framework
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in team meetings and training as required by the program
- Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations pertaining to special education services
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children, including early childhood to 12th grade
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with extended hours on the first and last days (until 3:15 p.m.)
- Availability for employment from June 15 through July 26, 2026
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student success
Location and Schedule:
- This position is located in Grayslake, Illinois, supporting students through an in-person, ESY program
- Monday to Thursday, mornings with occasional full-day requirements on the first and last day
