Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Current IL SSW License required
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in school settings
- Ability to facilitate engaging 1:1 and group therapy with students of varied needs
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic educational settings
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings
- Deliver progress reports and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult and educate teachers and families on strategies and supports
