Qualifications & Credentials:
- Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field required
- Active Colorado SLP license (or eligibility for immediate licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, addressing a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress notes as required by state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
