Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation within a school setting
- Experience supervising or mentoring SLP students or clinical fellows is a plus
- Colorado State SLP licensure (or eligibility) required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a total of 12 hours of supervision (6 direct, 6 indirect) per trimester to an assigned SLP CF
- Oversee and mentor the CF’s clinical growth and competency development
- Maintain collaborative communication with both school staff and the SLP CF
- Ensure proper documentation and evaluation of the SLP CF’s progress in alignment with ASHA and district standards
- Support the delivery of school-based speech-language services for students when needed
