This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to work either as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), playing a vital role in helping children reach their communication and learning goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP or SLPA license required
- Experience working with students in a school environment or with pediatric populations
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and candidates with school-based or pediatric SLP backgrounds
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Organizational skills and adaptability to work within school schedules and IEP processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of students across various grades, consistent with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to program planning
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school, state, and federal guidelines
