Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working directly with students in an elementary school setting. Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, especially with elementary-aged students, is strongly desired
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary education team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments to students, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) as necessary
- Provide direct therapy services onsite at the elementary school, focusing on communication, articulation, language, fluency, and social aspects
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet evolving student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure students’ academic and social success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and related school-based activities
