Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology State License (Illinois)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and IEP writing abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students in PreK-8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEPs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families, to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all state and federal regulations
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy
- Foster an inclusive environment, supporting students to achieve academic and social success
