Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct and consultative services for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique strengths and needs
- Partner with educators, counselors, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Engage in school-wide initiatives and contribute positively to the school environment
