Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP State License and Professional Educator License (PEL) are required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially in an educational environment
- Strong ability to conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement evidence-based therapy interventions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and helping them achieve communication goals
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct onsite speech-language therapy to elementary school students, tailored to individual needs
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders within caseload
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress and inclusion
- Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and data for compliance purposes
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and related activities to advocate for student success
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based speech therapy
