Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Illinois SLP state license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, especially elementary, strongly desired
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address individual student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Implement evidence-based interventions for a variety of speech and language needs
