Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Glendale, CA

You’ll use your expertise and compassionate approach to deliver therapy, assess needs, and help children develop essential communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Proven experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to promote student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications as needed
- Stay current with best practices, professional development, and compliance requirements
