Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, active state licensure as an SLP in Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children across diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Create tailored intervention strategies to support student communication goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support plans
  • Maintain detailed documentation on student progress, sessions, and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding student needs and achievements
