Requirements
- Active New York Speech-Language Pathologist License
- New York Teaching Certification (TSSLD or TSHH)
- Active Medicaid Number
- OPRA Number Required
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) Number Required
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person speech-language therapy services to students ages PreK-21.
- Conduct speech, language, fluency, and communication assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Read, interpret, and follow student IEPs to ensure compliance and student success.
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families.
- Maintain accurate daily case notes and service documentation.
- Contribute to progress reports, report cards, and ongoing student evaluations.
- Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
