School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact in students’ lives by providing speech-language services across a dynamic school district. This rewarding contract position offers the opportunity to work onsite with K-12 students, delivering essential support from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027. With a consistent 35-hour work week, you'll play a key role in helping students communicate confidently and succeed academically.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP certification and teaching certification required (must be provided with your resume)
- Experience working with school-age children across grade levels
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for diverse speech/language needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, proactive, and organized approach to managing a district-wide caseload
- Passion for supporting student growth and success
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language pathology services to K-12 students across various school sites
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and participate in eligibility and reevaluation meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and families to foster positive outcomes
- Support communication goals through therapy, consultation, and resources
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and development
This is an onsite-only position serving multiple schools—virtual services are not available at this time. You’ll be a valued resource across the district, building relationships and making a difference in classrooms throughout the academic year.
