Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Providing services district-wide across a K-12 setting, you’ll play a crucial role in helping learners find their voices, build communication skills, and thrive academically and socially. This assignment spans from August 18, 2026 through May 27, 2027, at a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
Successful candidates will bring a passion for helping diverse student populations and excel at collaborating with staff, families, and other support professionals. You’ll have the flexibility of working with students across multiple sites, ensuring a dynamic and meaningful experience each day. This role is based fully onsite, fostering direct engagement and impactful, personal interactions with students and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Active Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
- K-12 schools experience strongly desired
- Familiarity with district-wide service models preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to submit certifications alongside your current resume
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver dynamic therapy sessions in small groups and one-on-one formats
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring
- Counsel and coach students, teachers, and families on effective strategies
