Early Childhood Education (ECE) School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Milton, Delaware

The assignment spans the academic year, beginning August 19, 2026, and concluding June 8, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, addressing areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and both receptive and expressive language delays
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed
- Deliver clear, thorough, and insightful reports based on student assessments and classroom observations
- Work comfortably with early intervention and early childhood students
- Create and manage Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals, tracking progress and adjusting supports as necessary
- Collaborate and communicate consistently with parents, educators, and support staff to foster student growth and success
- Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving to overcome barriers and meet diverse student needs
Qualifications:
- Possess or qualify for a Delaware state SLP license
- Open to both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is a plus
- Strong skills in communication and teamwork
- Adaptable, with a solution-focused approach
