This contract opportunity offers a full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role, providing on-site services for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a dedicated SLP, you’ll work closely with students, teachers, and families to help learners reach their highest potential.
Qualifications:
- Active and verifiable Delaware SLP licensure/certification
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience with therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and data collection
- Familiarity with digital systems such as Data Service Center and PowerSchool IEP
- Must be available to work onsite; remote and SLPA applicants will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across grade levels (specific caseload and ages to be determined)
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to inform IEP planning
- Draft, review, and maintain accurate and timely therapy notes and progress monitoring data
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain compliance with state standards and district protocols
