Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children
- Competence in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using online platforms and technology for virtual therapy sessions
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule independently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote speech and language assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans for students in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions via secure teletherapy platforms
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
- Provide support and resources for families and caregivers
