Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license valid for the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly desired
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology for virtual delivery
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records in a virtual environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse school-aged population
- Deliver therapy sessions remotely, ensuring student engagement and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support each student’s goals
- Monitor, document, and report student progress, updating goals and strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
