Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current, valid SLP license in the state of Virginia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged students (K-12), ideally in a teletherapy or virtual setting
- Strong proficiency with digital therapy platforms and telehealth technologies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable with independent, remote work
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in a virtual environment, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ speech and language goals
- Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed, providing updates and recommendations
- Adapt therapy techniques and materials to ensure engaging, effective sessions in an online format
