School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gary, Indiana

Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP roles
- Ability to support diverse caseloads, ranging from developmental preschoolers through middle school students
- Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Please note: SLPA candidates at this time cannot be accepted
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Maintain and support a caseload of approximately 70–100 students (varies by placement)
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and academic achievement
- Participate in IEP meetings, develop individualized therapy plans, and document progress
- Work across either single sites or split between nearby elementary and middle schools (short driving distance as needed)
- Engage in flexible scheduling during a standard 7-hour workday (30-minute lunch unpaid)
- Opportunity for additional SLA (Speech-Language Assistant) support based on assignment
