Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist in Garland, TX

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Texas
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- CCC-SLP credential or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience delivering services in a school setting, preferably with K-8 students
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality direct and indirect speech-language therapy to K-8 students, targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Conduct speech/language screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and accurate progress reports in line with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
- Offer culturally and linguistically responsive services tailored to students’ diverse backgrounds
- Focus solely on contracted duties—no additional responsibilities such as bus or parent pickup duty
