Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with elementary school students and autism spectrum disorders is highly valued
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students, addressing speech, language, and communication challenges
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Deliver targeted interventions within dedicated autism program classrooms
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
- Contribute to ongoing team meetings and professional development activities
This contract role offers a competitive rate between $45 and $52+ per hour, aligned with your experience and expertise.
