This on-site contract position is based in Habersham, GA, with immediate openings for the remainder of this school year and the 2025–2026 academic session. Full-time opportunities are available (up to 37.5 hours per week), and part-time scheduling will be considered for the right candidate. This role replaces a previous remote position and requires daily on-site presence.
In this position, you will deliver engaging, individualized speech therapy, participate actively in IEP meetings, contribute to progress monitoring, and assist with Medicaid billing. Your work will be vital in helping students achieve communication milestones and educational success.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure required
- Current Georgia Educator Certificate
- Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads preferred
- Experience supporting students with ASD or in severe/profound classrooms a plus
- Reliable transportation necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to K–5 students in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings
- Monitor and document student progress
- Assist with Medicaid billing processes
- Commit to an on-site presence throughout the assignment
