As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you will collaborate closely with educators and families, providing crucial services for children in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms (grades K–5). Full-time hours up to 37.5 hours per week are available through the end of the current school year, with opportunities extending into the 2025–2026 academic year. Part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply, and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
- Previous school-based experience preferred but CFs are invited to apply
- Experience supporting students with autism spectrum disorder or severe/profound disabilities is a plus
- Commitment to onsite service delivery—remote work is not available for this role
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy that meets IEP goals and supports classroom success
- Provide direct services to children in ASD and severe/profound needs classrooms
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational plans
- Monitor and document progress and participate in Medicaid billing processes as directed
