Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Adaptability in working with diverse caseloads and age groups
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and document progress in alignment with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and administrators to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations
- Support a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
