Speech Language Pathologist in Fremont, CA
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting school-based speech-language services in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time role runs from August 7, 2026, and provides much-needed support while the permanent position is being filled. You’ll be a valuable asset in meeting the needs of students across several school sites, offering both direct service and critical assessment support to manage caseload overloads.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CCC-SLP certification
- Prior experience in school-based speech-language therapy
- Comfortable providing support across various school locations
- Strong assessment skills and adaptability
- Dedication to working Monday through Friday, 8am to 3pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as supplemental SLP support, traveling to a different school site daily
- Deliver speech and language therapy services, ensuring continuity of care for students
- Conduct assessments to help address caseload overages at assigned sites
- Collaborate with on-site SLPs and education teams to address students’ communication needs
- Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation per school and regulatory guidelines
- Flexibly adapt to changing schedules and student needs within the district
