School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, CA

Your schedule will keep things fresh and engaging—spending each day at a different location, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. As part of the special education support team, you’ll collaborate with existing SLPs, educators, and staff to ensure no student’s needs go unmet while the district seeks a permanent team member.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience in school settings and familiarity with IEP processes and assessments.
- Adaptability to work in multiple school environments with a supportive, team-focused attitude.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs.
- Conducting assessments to assist with caseload overloads and eligibility.
- Communicating student progress to staff and families.
- Collaborating to develop and implement supportive strategies appropriate for diverse school sites.
- Accurately maintaining records and documentation as required by the district.
