Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California SLPA license required
- Experience working with school-aged youth, preferably in a middle school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs
- Familiarity with documentation and progress tracking in school settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct interventions to middle school students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track and document student progress accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to foster positive communication skills and support inclusive classroom environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights regarding student development
- Engage students with creative, evidence-based strategies to enhance their speech and language growth
