Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Fremont, CA

Contribute your expertise as a speech-language pathologist, providing direct and consultative services throughout the full 22/23 school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY considered)
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery a plus
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and documentation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills, flexibility, and compassion for diverse student populations
- Previous experience in high school caseload management considered an asset
- SLPA and OT collaboration experience in healthcare or educational settings also valuable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, diagnostics, and intervention for high school students with varied communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans driven by student goals and IEP mandates
- Document student progress and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with onsite occupational therapy staff and other related service providers
- Facilitate both small group and individual therapy sessions
- Serve as a resource to teachers, parents, and staff on speech-language development and supports
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and district protocols
