Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligible for California state licensure
  • Proven experience working in a school-based environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP documentation and implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to connect effectively with students, educators, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate communication strategies within the classroom
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences
  • Maintain clear, accurate student records and documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
