Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Eligible for California state licensure
- Proven experience working in a school-based environment preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP documentation and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to connect effectively with students, educators, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students referred for services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate communication strategies within the classroom
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences
- Maintain clear, accurate student records and documentation in accordance with school and state regulations
