Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Fraser, CO
Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract position supports a welcoming school community in the Idaho Springs, CO area for the 2026-2027 school year. With a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students and a family-friendly four-day work week (Monday-Thursday), you’ll have time to focus on what matters most—delivering impactful speech-language therapy.
You’ll provide services across a diverse grade range, tailoring interventions for a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. The role allows for use of your expertise in both traditional settings and via teletherapy, with ample peer support and ongoing professional collaboration.
Ideal candidates bring:
- Current Colorado SLP license and CDE credentials
- ASHA CCC or eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics and school-based settings
- SLP-CFY individuals welcome to apply
- Proficiency with therapy for PreK-12 students; comfort managing caseloads of about 30
- Ability to provide both in-person and teletherapy support as needed
- Strong teamwork skills, resourcefulness, and a passion for student development
Your focus will include:
- Evaluating students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Designing and implementing personalized intervention plans
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists
- Maintaining thorough and accurate progress documentation
- Supporting students’ communication goals in diverse learning environments
