Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates are welcome to apply
- Experience working with children in educational settings is highly desirable
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques for diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions addressing articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and meet compliance deadlines
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes and classroom participation
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
