Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conduct thorough assessments, and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized interventions and achieve student goals.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional expertise regarding communication disorders.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based SLP services.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Colorado, or eligibility for licensure by start date.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting with K-12 students is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
