Early Childhood Education (ECE) Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Fort Worth, Texas
Make a meaningful impact as a speech-language pathologist, working in-person at an elementary school setting supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract opportunity covers a maternity leave and serves a lively, diverse caseload of approximately 40 students, split between two schools for two half days each week. Your focus will be on pediatric speech therapy, providing vital services that help young learners overcome communication challenges and succeed both academically and socially. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to design and implement individualized therapies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current certification and eligibility for SLP licensure in Texas
- Experience with pediatric populations, especially early childhood and K–5 students
- SLP CCC highly preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively across school teams and adapt to varying school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for speech and language disorders in children from kindergarten through fifth grade
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions onsite
- Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Support students in developing effective communication and language skills
- Coordinate with faculty, administration, and families for holistic student care
