Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows with school experience also considered.
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with children and adolescents is strongly valued.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapy plans focused on student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports within compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to facilitate student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Provide support and resources for teachers to help integrate speech and language strategies in the classroom.
