Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Commitment to culturally competent, inclusive practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Track progress, document sessions, and prepare detailed reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support students’ educational outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, staffings, and relevant professional development opportunities
- Educate and support families on communication strategies for home use
