Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Texas SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills and adaptability for work across K-12 grade levels
- Ability and willingness to supervise SLPAs onsite
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services, including assessment, intervention, and documentation, for a diverse student caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and family members to facilitate student communication skills and success in the classroom
- Supervise and mentor onsite SLPAs, supporting professional growth and quality student care
- Conduct screenings, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
- Adapt interventions and supports to meet students’ unique communication needs across multiple campuses within the district
