What you'll bring:
- Active Texas SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Prior experience working in school settings with K-12 students.
- Strong assessment, therapy, consultation, and documentation skills.
- Desire and ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) onsite.
- Passion for fostering student growth and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
What you'll do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload (specific assignments to be determined).
- Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, as well as families, to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication challenges and maintain thorough records to monitor progress.
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
- Participate in school and district meetings, professional development, and team planning sessions.
