Qualifications:
- Active CDE Special Provider License required
- SLP-CCC or CFY credentials welcomed
- Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school students is preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and effective communication abilities with students, parents, and educators
- Proficiency in evaluating, developing, and implementing IEPs and individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students across 5 days each week
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting
- Manage a caseload of 50 students, tailoring support to each individual's needs
- Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers and other professionals
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with district and state policies
- Engage with families and school staff to foster student success and participation in the academic environment
