Desired Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience in a school setting or with K-12 populations preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement speech-language interventions tailored to diverse learners
- Commitment to fostering student growth and partnering with teachers and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to K-12 students with a range of speech and language needs
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and therapists, to create supportive learning environments
- Offer guidance and support to families and staff around effective communication strategies and interventions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
