Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (official transcripts required)
- Active or pending Michigan SLP licensure (must show proof of application if pending)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFYs with established supervision considered
- Comfortable delivering onsite services across multiple schools
- Familiarity with challenges faced by urban students and awareness of local resources
- Previous K-12 school experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and group) targeting speech and language development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Develop IEP goals, participate in meetings, and maintain detailed records
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and support eligibility determinations
- Provide AAC system training, consult with staff, and travel between assigned buildings
- Lead in-service training for school personnel
- Organize therapy equipment and supplies
