As an SLP, you will play an essential role in helping students reach their communication goals by evaluating speech, language, and communication challenges, developing tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with other education professionals. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • Experience providing therapy within school settings is highly valued
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ IEPs or 504 plans
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions (individual and group)
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to student success planning
