What We’re Looking For:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Michigan.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred, but Clinical Fellow (CF) applications are also welcome.
- School-based SLP experience, particularly with elementary caseloads, is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- The ability to manage a caseload of approximately 60 elementary-aged students.
- Adaptability to work across two school sites and a readiness to start in December (early start available).
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among an elementary population.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking student goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate and organized records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student growth.
- Provide direct and consultative services in both individual and group settings.
