Ideal candidates possess a passion for empowering young learners. While a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred, candidates with a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome to apply, making this an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school-based setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Michigan
- Preferably hold a CCC, though strong CF candidates are encouraged
- Previous experience in a K-12 or elementary setting is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language services to students within your assigned caseload
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educators and families
- Travel between two school sites (both conveniently located)
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and effective documentation
- Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
