School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Spanaway, Washington
Step into a vital school-based role supporting students’ communication needs for the 26/27 school year! Full-time, onsite opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to work with a collaborative special education team serving students from preschool through 12th grade. Caseloads are manageable (never exceeding 50 students), allowing for meaningful connections and effective planning.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- Current ESA Certification (Educational Staff Associate)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcome
- Experience in a school setting supporting K-12 students is highly valued
- Ability to administer, score, and interpret standardized speech/language assessments
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Excellent communication with caregivers and school staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication evaluations
- Develop, document, and maintain IEPs for a diverse caseload
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy focused on student needs in articulation, language, social communication, voice, and fluency
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, occupational/physical therapists, and administrators
- Provide regular updates and strategies to families and staff
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, WAC, and district procedures, including precise documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and Medicaid billing
- Organize your schedule to balance sessions across multiple grade levels and school sites
