Make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. Located near Everett, WA, this full-time opportunity welcomes both local and travel professionals to provide vital services to young learners with diverse needs. Caseloads will be tailored based on your expertise and preference, serving students with moderate to profound challenges in a collaborative, supportive school environment.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility) for Washington State.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations, including early childhood and elementary students.
- Strong understanding of a range of communication disorders, and experience creating and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborative approach for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K–12 students.
- Develop, implement, and update evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs and educational goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including progress monitoring and IEP reporting.
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students with varying degrees of need—from moderate to profound.
- Communicate regularly with educators and caregivers to promote carryover and support in the classroom.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development relevant to speech-language services.
