Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Evanston, IL

This full-time contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is onsite and offers the chance to work with incredible students in a collaborative environment. The position begins as soon as possible, runs through May 29th, and continues for the entire month of September, making it a great way to shape young lives across two academic periods.
As a member of the team, you’ll provide vital speech and language services, develop individualized plans, and collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure students’ needs are met.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in Illinois (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively engage with students, staff, and caregivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individual plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions for a school-aged caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to stakeholders
- Support a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused environment for all learners
