Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or be eligible for Illinois SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or actively working toward Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services in individual and small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide input during IEP meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices
